As part of the process of developing our proposals for the Fieldes Lock Power Station, Veolia is currently undertaking a wide range of environmental and geo-technical surveys of the site. Some of these surveys are intrusive and require the use of specialist drilling equipment. The outcome of these surveys will help determine the detailed design of the power station. These works do not constitute the start of construction. Construction of the proposed power station cannot commence until planning permission has been applied for and granted.
