Greenest refuse collection vehicle

Veolia is working in partnership with Westminster City Council with the greenest refuse collection vehicle ever seen in Britain - a hybrid truck. The vehicle combines a diesel-electric hybrid engine built by Volvo Trucks with a fully electric body, built by Geesink Norba. Incredibly quiet, the vehicle is set to save over 30% on fuel costs and carbon emissions compared to ‘standard’ diesel trucks. And the registration? LC02 LOW.
