The Sustainable Development Commission estimates that if the NHS achieved a recycling target of between 40% and 60%, between 16,500 and 23,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions would be saved each year.

As a result, the healthcare sector is in the process of re-evaluating its waste management strategies, in an effort to reduce its carbon footprint and expenses.  Each country within the UK now has a national waste strategy in place.

We offer a wide range of services to the UK health sector. Whether we’re working with major NHS hospitals, Primary Care Trusts or specialised doctors’ surgeries, we tailor our services and solutions to the exact requirements of our healthcare clients.

Our service provision includes waste collection and treatment, recycling, hazardous and clinical waste collection and treatment and electrical recycling. We work in partnership with health sector customers to significantly reduce the amount of materials going to landfill.
