We are responsible for managing waste and recycling collections and disposal in Shropshire on behalf of Shropshire Council.
Residents are already seeing improvements in the services they receive and extension of the county’s recycling and waste management infrastructure, including the introduction of a kerbside plastic bottle collection service which is being rolled out in 2010/11.
Our services in Shropshire:
- Kerbside collection of household waste, garden waste and recycling for 131,000 properties
- Kerbside food waste collection in North and South Shropshire (to be extended to all area over the next few years)
- Six household recycling centres
- Recycling Banks across the county
- We are developing an In Vessel Composting Facility for food and garden waste collected from across the county
- We are proposing the construction of an Energy Recovery Facility in Battlefield
