Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs)
Veolia operates 16 Household Waste Recycling Centres in locations across Merseyside and Halton.
Materials Recycling Facility

The Materials Recovery Facilities handle the kerbside collections of Wirral, Liverpool, Knowsley and Halton. The co-mingled materials are seperated and sent on to recycling plants for reprocessing.
Recycling Discovery Centre

The Recycling Discovery Centres offer free and exciting waste education programmes for all ages.
Transfer stations
There are four waste transfer stations in Merseyside. Each station is designed to receive residual household waste, dry recyclables and street cleansing waste.
