We operate 14 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) in Nottinghamshire, which we operate on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council. Nottinghamshire residents can bring their bulky household waste to any of the HWRCs. Wherever possible, we will recycle what you bring, from garden waste, to textiles, to car batteries and electrical applicances!
At our Calverton and Worksop HWRCs, we accept unwanted water-based, oil-based and masonry paint as well as undercoat and varnish for use in our Community RePaint scheme. Local charities and not-for-profit groups can collect paint for use in their premises free of charge. For more information or to register your community group, please visit www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/communityrepaint or call Nottinghamshire County Council's Customer Service Centre on 08849 808080.
At our Beeston, Calverton, Hucknall, Kirkby, Newark, West Bridgford, Warsop and Worksop HWRCs, we also accept used cooking oil for recycling.
