Blue box and blue bin flexible service

How does it work?

Your blue box and your blue bin are emptied together on the same day every 2 weeks.

You can choose which container to use for glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles and cans and which one to use for paper and card.  

Some things to remember

• All your recyclable materials cannot be mixed in the same container. Your paper and card needs to go in one container and your glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles and cans in the other.
• Please put your blue box and your blue bin out by 7am on your collection day and put them away by 9am the following day.
• Don't lose your waterproof hat! Please make sure it is tied to one of the handles of the blue box as shown below:
  

• Your blue bin cannot be emptied if the lid is not closed flat.
• We can provide help with your blue box if you struggle to lift it due to a medical or age related reason. We can also provide help with your wheeled bins. Click here to find out more.
