The group met at regular intervals, was independently chaired and provided members with the opportunity to discuss issues with experts and neighbours, raise any concerns; enable members to become informed on waste matters and get involved in the issues surrounding the facility’s development, where they can influence the process as this planning application develops.
We listened to its views and acted upon its concerns. In working with members of the public, it is hoped that the needs and concerns of the local community can be taken on board, with the result being to provide the best practical final proposal.
