Recycle for Shropshire

Recycling is just one way to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfill sites. You can also reduce the amount of waste you produce by reusing items around your home. Before you throw an item away why not see if you could reuse it or repair it?

Kerbside recycling
Each household in Shropshire receives a calendar detailing the dates that their compostable waste and recycling and their residual waste will be collected.
Household waste recycling centres
Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) offer recycling facilities for a much wider range of materials than can be collected at the kerbside.
Bring sites
These sites offer recycling facilities for a variety of different materials.

Composting
Compostable garden waste collected from the kerbside is taken to a composting facility where it is recycled to make high-quality compost.
