Southwark’s recycling rate is improving each year and in the past seven years Southwark residents have more than quadrupled the recycling rate in the borough. This fantastic effort is set to continue under the waste management contract of the borough with Veolia Environmental Services targeting a recycling rate of 50% by 2020.
