Bromley Transfer Station

At both our Waldo Road and Churchfields Road depots in the Bromley borough we house a waste transfer station as a convenient tipping point for general waste and recyclable materials, received from refuse and recycling collections to households within the London Borough of Bromley, as well as from commerce and industry.

The sites accept all of the waste and materials that can be taken to the borough’s two civic amenity sites (please see list on Bromley Civic Amenity Sites page), as well as recycled detritus and mixed plastics, cans, glass and paper.

The transfer station is a ‘stepping stone’ to further treatment or disposal options, including recycling or recovery from authorised and approved processors, energy recovery or landfill.
