Veolia Environmental Services undertakes an extensive programme of recycling activities in the London Borough of Camden, helping encourage participation amongst residents.
In fact, thanks to the joint efforts of Veolia staff, Council staff and of course the residents of the borough, Camden’s recycling rate is just over 28%, well above the London average and just a shade below the national average. The aim is to keep on improving and get the rate even higher.
We collect a range of materials for recycling either from residents’ doorsteps using green boxes and bags, mini recycling sites in 300 housing estates and high-rise buildings, or from street recycling banks. Our weekly service comprises collections of paper, card, cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles and jars.
For further information about what materials residents can and cannot recycle, as well as how to recycle them, please click HERE to access Camden Council’s dedicated recycling section of its website.
As well as providing a whole range of useful information, by clicking HERE you will be taken to Camden Council’s My Camden site, where you can find the day of the week that your recycling is collected.
