Our diverse landscaping and grounds maintenance activities see us maintain, preserve and care for all the parks and open spaces in the borough, making them enjoyable places for all residents to visit.
From the larger green areas such as Brockwell Park and Kennington Park, to the smaller spaces such as the Tate Gardens in Brixton and Milkwood Community Park in Herne Hill, our dedication, experience and expertise has helped these spaces to flourish.
Through this department we are involved in numerous borough-wide projects and initiatives, including local community celebrations and festivals such as those for Myatt’s Fields and Tate Gardens.
In 2007, we helped Lambeth Council win two Green Flag Awards – the national standard for parks and open spaces – at Vauxhall Park and Milkwood Community Park, the latter retaining its status for a second consecutive year.
Also in partnership with Lambeth Council we have won a Silver Award for our displays for London In Bloom 2007, alongside a Special Award from the judges for our centrepiece floral bike displays created for the 2007 Tour de France.
Although out of the borough, the Lambeth landscapes management team also has responsibility for Regent’s Park.
