Parks and Open Spaces Maintenance
The parks and Open spaces within the Merton contract comprises of 46 Parks and open spaces. The services provided by Veolia for Merton council to ensure that the parks and open spaces are maintained in accordance with the specification are: Grass cutting operations only.

Highway & Housing Maintenance
Veolia is responsible for maintaining the grass verges for the entire borough. The services provided by Veolia to ensure that they are maintained in accordance with the specification are; grass cutting, hedge cutting & cutting back and removal of vegetation in public passages and alleyways.

Arboriculture Maintenance
The services provided by Veolia to ensure that this area of maintenance is provided in accordance with the specification are; Tree Annual Pollarding, Annual Base and Epic Growth, Tree Felling and stump grinding, crown reduction, lifting, storm damage safety and clearance and tree planting. We also provide a 24hr call out facility for the Merton council. This service is provided by a subcontractor, Veolia retain 17.5 % of revenue.

Variation Orders
Veolia undertakes a large amount of variation orders for this client ranging from re-turfing to garden clearances & shrub planting in housing.
