Richmond Upon Thames Refuse Collection

Veolia Environmental Services undertakes refuse collections in the London Borough of Richmond from 80,000 domestic properties. The main method of collection is kerbside collections of traditional black sacks from the 65,000 low rise properties and bulk containers from the remaining high-rise properties.

All refuse collected is sent to West London Waste Authority for disposal at their facilities.

In early November 2007, we introduced same day collections for refuse and recycling, making it easier for residents to recycle more.

Please click HERE to find out your collection day for both refuse and recycling.

We are committed to providing all residents of the borough with a thorough, efficient and reliable service. Below is a chart showing the total number of missed bin collections per 100,000 collections made on a monthly basis, measured against the target figure set by Richmond Council.
