Veolia's planning application for the Integrated Waste Management Facility

Before submitting the planning application, Veolia Environmental Services established a Community Liaison Group in Southwark to give the local residents and other interested groups the chance to find out more about the proposals. Members of the independently facilitated group discussed the issues with experts and neighbours, and had the opportunity to raise any concerns about the designs for the facility. In addition to this, Veolia Environmental Services also attended local community council meetings and held public exhibitions on the Ledbury and Tustin Estates.
The Community Liaison Group ran from June 2008 until the planning application was submitted in September 2008. For details of what was discussed at these meetings please see the documents below.
