In the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Veolia Environmental Services runs the winter maintenance programme from October to the end of March.
We have two teams on standby to grit and salt the roads and pavements and we respond after direction from Tower Hamlets Council.
The council have categorised their roads into bands A, B, C, D and E and dependant upon the instruction from the council, one or all of these identified roads are covered by the service.
