Join us for Lunch!
Veolia Environmental Services (Nottinghamshire’s waste contractors) and Nottinghamshire County Council are inviting Nottinghamshire residents to attend The Big Lunch at Bestwood Country Park on Sunday 2nd June for a free lunch at the Feed 1,000 event. The event will aim to highlight the amount of food we waste - and what we could be doing with it instead.

The Big Lunch: Love Food Hate Waste - ‘Feed the 1,000’ event
Veolia Environmental Services (Nottinghamshire’s waste contractors) and Nottinghamshire County Council are inviting Nottinghamshire residents to a free lunch. The Feed the 1,000 challenge is part of The Big Lunch being held at Bestwood Country Park on Sunday 2nd June between 11am – 3pm. The event will aim to highlight the amount of food an average family wastes in a year - and what we could be doing with it instead.

Notts Sustainable cook book ‘Love Your Leftovers’ available for free at the Nottinghamshire County Show
As part of the Love Your Leftovers Tour of Nottinghamshire, recycling officers will be on hand at Stand number FE25 in Food Experience at the Nottinghamshire County Show on the 11th & 12th May. Join in the Love Food Hate Waste games and pick up your free copy of the ‘Love Your Leftovers’ cook book.
