Waste and the Community

We are all responsible for managing waste. It is vital that everyone in the community gets involved to take action against the growing waste problem. Veolia Environmental Services Nottinghamshire works with communities across the county to raise awareness about waste and helps people take action.

To help us do this to even greater effect, we are in the process of developing the EnviroGrant scheme. This will be a fund to which community groups can apply for grants of up to £1,000 for projects which benefit or improve the local environment in Nottinghamshire.

More information will be added here soon; however in the meantime if you are interested in applying for the scheme please contact Amy Roberts, Waste Awareness Officer on 0115 988 2230 or via email to amy.roberts@veolia.co.uk.

If your project requires considerable financial assistance, please go to www.veoliatrust.org to find out if it qualifies for funding.
