After Collection

Our electrical recycling service has consistently achieved recycling and recovery rates of
over 90%.

IT equipment
With established markets available for refurbished IT equipment, your obsolete equipment is first sorted to determine the most effective recovery process. Working equipment is cleaned, data wiped and has all badges removed before upgrading is undertaken. tubeThe service utilises Ministry of Defence approved data eradication software to make sure your information is wiped from the hard drive.

Equipment unsuitable for refurbishment undergoes a manual dismantling process, retaining spare parts for future use. Wherever possible, sub-assemblies and materials such as aluminium, copper, circuit boards and cabling are dispatched to licensed recycling facilities to be used in place of raw materials in industrial processes. Remaining items unsuitable for recycling are sent for safe disposal.

Fluorescent tubes
Fluorescent tubes are crushed and materials are separated during the process. Glass is recovered for use in the manufacture of loft insulation. Mercury powder is distilled into pure Mercury which can be re-used and powder which can be used in concrete production.
