Civic Amenity |

As part of the process of improving recycling rates, Bring Bank and Civic Amenity sites provide a vital service in collecting those materials not usually picked up with a weekly refuse collection. Various items such as white goods, garden waste and oil cannot be disposed of with ordinary household waste, and can be segregated and reused or recycled.
Veolia Environmental Services can establish and operate Civic Amenity sites as part of a Local Authority contract, giving residents in the area every opportunity to take part in the waste reduction process. Throughout the UK, Veolia Environmental Services operates a number of these sites within Local Authority contracts, providing a vital service to the community and making available a simple and convenient method for disposal of bulky or special residential wastes. As part of the service, Veolia Environmental Services can undertake communications to residents to advertise the locations and capacities of such sites.
