1 Sep 2008 - New term and new allotment for Seagrave Primary kids
Children and staff at Seagrave Primary School in Aspley have a treat in store for them when they return to school on 2nd September. A brand new allotment with raised beds awaits them, where they will be able to plant and nurture a range of plants, fruit and vegetables.

29 Aug 2008 - Last call for EnviroArt!
Back in July, Veolia Environmental Services Nottinghamshire and Nottinghamshire County Council challenged Notts children to enter a fantastic holiday boredom buster competition. Young artists aged 8 – 16 have been getting creative and have produced some amazing recycling themed art work. We have received some truly wonderful entries from plenty of schools in the county including Newark Orchard School, Redlands Primary School and Chilwell School. These ‘EnviroArtists’ are now in with a chance to win £150 for their school and to see their masterpiece enlarged into a sign for one of the 18 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC) across the county.

24 Jul 2008 - Mosborough Juniors score a winner with Veolia!
Local football team Mosborough Juniors, scored a winner this season when Veolia Environmental Services offered to sponsor their U13 boys 2008/09 tracksuits. The Junior Football Club, founded in 2005 is home to a full range of teams from U11s to U15s and was delighted when the company agreed to sponsor the team and fund the new set of tracksuits.

16 Jul 2008 - School’s out…..here’s to a greener new term!
On Friday 18th July, children all over Nottinghamshire and across the country will breathe a sigh of relief as another school year draws to a close. Six weeks of holidays, fun and lie-ins are ahead, with September seeming a long way away.
