This includes detailed street cleansing, litter picking and weed treatment programme throughout the district in order to maintain adopted highway land, relevant car parks, subways and bus stations to as high a standard of cleanliness as possible. Over 600 litter bins are provided and regularly emptied across the district, and there are dedicated response crews who remove fly tipping and empty the litter bins.
